Gewürztraminer Falkenstein 2018 is a South Tyrolean white wine of the highest quality, more precisely from Venosta Valley.
The vineyards of the Gewürztraminer Falkenstein are located on steep and rocky slopes, rich in minerals and their grapes are characterized by pink skin and very small berries.
The grapes are harvested by hand in early October and then carefully processed. Fermentation and aging are carried out inside large acacia wood barrels that allow the wines to fully develop their aromas. This barrel period has a duration of 10 months, which ends after a further 2 months in the bottle, before being marketed.
It is thus revealed with a golden yellow color, fresh acidity, with an enveloping, soft taste and aromas reminiscent of notes of rose, cloves and tropical fruits.
