Curtefranca Bianco "Convento Santissima Annunciata" 2017 75 cl Bellavista
BellavistaBellavista Curtefranca Vigna "Convento SS. Annunciata" is a white wine whose Chardonnay grapes are grown on Monte Orfano near the homonymous convent.
Bellavista was chosen by the friars to revive a unique and unrepeatable vineyard of 5.45 hectares whose traces date back to the beginning of the millennium.
The vineyard of the SS. Annunciata enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is divided into two distinct parts and as many types of soils, above and below a tree that delimits them. Two parcels that obviously have specific care, separate harvests and different routes in the cellar that give life to a small cuvée.
The 100% Chardonnay must ferments in small oak barrels where it remains to refine for 12 months and at least another 2 years in the bottle.
The "Convento SS. Annunciata" Bellavista white wine has a broad and inviting bouquet of ripe fruit, old rose, geranium, apricot and pineapple. The sensation of minerality is surprising. The hint of vanilla is elegant and persuasive. Excellent balance and freshness of taste which is fully manifested in the long persistence and sapidity.
