Specifically, the 2022 vintage produced balanced, harmonious and fresh white wines, with slightly reduced acidity compared to previous vintages.
This extraordinary white wine owes its name "Quarz" to the quartz fragments that shine on the volcanic porphyry characteristic of the Terlano area and on which the Sauvignon Blanc vineyards are built.
During the harvest, the grapes are carefully selected by hand, then delicately pressed and subjected to slow fermentation at a controlled temperature, 50% of the refinement is carried out in wooden barrels and the remaining 50% in stainless steel barrels for 9 months and finally assembled and bottled.
The Sauvignon Blanc Quarz Terlano is a white wine with a greenish yellow colour, on the nose we immediately perceive a captivating exotic bouquet with fruity notes of mango, papaya and grapefruit, aromas of herbs such as mint, green tea and lemongrass and hints of flint.
The aromas found on the nose are repeated on the palate, revealing an interesting combination of fruity and mineral aromas that blend harmoniously into strong and persistent flavors in the aftertaste.
Quarz Terlano pairs very well with oysters, fish and shellfish crudités, roast lamb with asparagus or a green apple risotto with a grilled wild char fillet.
