Champagne Brut Grand Cru 75 cl Marie-Noelle Ledru
Ledru Marie NoelleThe Wisdom of the French cellar of Marie Noëlle Ledru, the Lady of Pinot Noir, gives us this experience directly from the limestone soils of Ambonnay.
Grand Cru Ledru champagne is a blend with 85% Pinot noir and 15% Chardonnay obtained from mature vines, with at least 40 years of life and always treated with natural methods and absolutely free of chemicals.
The first fermentation takes place thanks to indigenous yeasts and 50% of the wines from the Maison's reserve are added to the vintage wine, so as not to alter the result of this great product over the years.
Subsequently, the second fermentation in the bottle proceeds for at least another 48 months according to the Champenoise method.
Champagne Brut Ledru shows a fine perlage and invites us to taste it with its slightly golden color. The nose is important, giving pungent notes of pear and apple, accompanied by honey and ginger, with final hints of red currant and toasted fruit. The sip is very fresh, with an incredible balance. There is no hidden minerality followed by a good aromatic persistence. An intense and refined champagne, with a very delicate and fine bouquet.
Excellent as an aperitif or paired with fish first courses, such as potato gnocchi with saffron and Mediterranean red shrimp.
